With Haaland committed to the Etihad until 2034, they estimate his worth between £188million-£239m – potentially topping Neymar's £200m switch to PSG in 2017 if he were to depart in the years to come.
secure second spot with , whose contract is just a year shorter than Haaland's. His projected value ranges from £95m to £120m, surpassing .
's star man is only tied to the Emirates Stadium until 2027, perhaps influencing his lower £84m-£106m valuation. Champions League hopefuls Aston Villa also feature in the top four of these standings with Morgan Rogers valued at £74m-£94m, reports .
Liverpool rank fifth, but not with the player you may expect. With Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold's contracts all nearing their end, their most valuable player is Ryan Gravenberch (£71m-£90m).
Newcastle United have reportedly set a hefty £150m asking price for Alexander Isak, but CIES believes a figure between £70m and £89m is more realistic. Rasmus Hojlund, valued at £62m-£79m, comes in seventh, despite Manchester United looking unlikely to get near that figure back for him.
In a surprising twist, Bournemouth's Ilya Zabarnyi ranks eighth. His centre-back partner Dean Huijsen has been making waves this season.

But Huijsen's £50m release clause is overshadowed by Zabarnyi's £52m-£67m valuation. That's as he only extended his stay at the Vitality Stadium last summer.
Carlos Baleba of Brighton (£51m-£64m) follows in ninth, while Tottenham are down in 10th with Brennan Johnson (£50m-£63m) their most valuable asset. Other notable mentions include Jarrad Branthwaite in 15th place and Marc Guehi in 18th.
Both English internationals were hot commodities last summer, with Everton refusing to accept less than £70m for Branthwaite and Palace demanding a similar amount for Guehi. However, CIES estimates Branthwaite's worth to be half that figure, while Guehi is valued below £30m as he enters the final year of his contract.
