Injury boostPostecoglou and Spurs have received some welcome news ahead of the Frankfurt clash with returning to training. Making a name for himself at centre-back since joining from Lens at the end of the January window, the centre-back has not made an appearance since the 2-2 draw against Bournemouth in early March.
Danso has been suffering with a hamstring injury but it would appear that he is now in a position to return to the matchday squad. The ex-Southampton man was involved with his teammates at their Enfield base and his return means Spurs now only have Radu Dragusin in the treatment room after their previous injury struggles.
Danso will more than likely take his place on the bench in Frankfurt unless Postecoglou elects to bring him in from the off.
Son hidingTottenham have received a boost going into the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie after was spotted with the squad. The Tottenham captain was absent from the matchday party on Sunday for the 4-2 defeat at Wolves.
Speaking at Molineux, , with the Australian then confirming after the game that his experienced attacker should be fine for Thursday. In , Son could be seen hiding behind Danso when the club's media team were recording the players making their way out to training.
The South Korean could then be seen working with the rest of the squad as they went through a number of warm-up drills. It will now be down to Postecoglou to decide whether Son starts or he chooses another option on the left flank.
Odobert boostSon wasn't the only absent player at Molineux on Sunday as was also missing. and that the winger should be in a position to return for the game in Germany.
Odobert was another to take his place in training at Hotspur Way ahead of the crunch Europa League game. Postecoglou will certainly have options on the wing for the game in Germany with all his attackers appearing to be available.
Ineligible players involvedTottenham have a handful of players who are not eligible to feature for the team in Europe due to UEFA's squad rules. As Tottenham could only name a squad of 23 players rather than the standard 25 due to only having two of the required four club-trained players, some stars have had to watch on from the stands when the team are in European action.
Fraser Forster, and Dragusin were the three to be cut from the original squad when changes could be made at the beginning of February following the closure of the transfer window. once again missed out on selection and .
Kinsky, Reguilon and Werner could be seen putting in the work with their teammates in training despite the fact that they cannot play in Europe for Tottenham. Forster, on the other hand, didn't appear to be with the rest of the goalkeepers as they trained away from the outfield players.
