CBSE Result 2025 Live: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may release the results of class 10th and class 12th soon. Although the official date is yet to be announced, according to information received from sources, the result is likely to be released between May 7 and May 12. Students who appeared in the CBSE Board 10th, and 12th examinations can check their results by visiting the official website .

This year, CBSE conducted board examinations at 7,842 examination centers and 26 international locations. This time 42 lakh students appeared in the examination, out of which 24.12 lakh students were of class 10th and 17.88 lakh students were of class 12th. Class 10 examinations were conducted between February 15 and March 18, 2025, while class 12 papers ended on April 4, 2025. All schools had already submitted practical marks by February 14.

Required information to download the result

To view and download the result, students have to enter the information of roll number, school number, date of examination, and admit card ID. The results which will be available on the online platform will be provisional. According to various sources, the pass percentage of class 10th is expected to be more than 93%, while the pass percentage rate of class 12th is estimated to be between 87-88%.

Last year's performance
In the year 2024, the pass percentage of class 10th was 93.60%, while in class 12th it was 87.98%. Girls performed better than boys. In class 12th, 91.52% of girls were successful, while the pass percentage of boys was 85.12%. Areas like Trivandrum, Vijayawada, and Chennai were the better performing areas last year.
