Through this recruitment campaign, a total of 935 posts of Assistant Education Development Officer will be filled in the Education Department of Bihar. These include 374 posts for the unreserved category, 93 for EWS, 150 for SC, 10 for ST, 168 for OBC, 112 for BC, and 28 posts for women of backward classes.

BPSC AEDO Eligibility: Eligibility Criteria

To apply, the candidate must have passed graduation or equivalent from a recognized university. Only those candidates can apply, whose age is between 21 and 37 years as on August 1, 2025. Age limit relaxation has been given to reserved category candidates as per the rules.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the written examination. It is to be noted that there will be no interview in this recruitment; selection will be done only based on performance in the written examination. If selected, the basic salary will be Rs 29,200 per month under the initial pay level-5.
