The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has completed the board examinations of classes 10th and 12th. Now lakhs of students are eagerly waiting for their results. According to the information, CBSE can release the results of the 10th and 12th soon.

This time the class 10th examinations were conducted from 15 February to 18 March 2025 and the 12th examinations were conducted from 15 February to 4 April 2025. About 24.12 lakh students of class 10th appeared in these examinations. At the same time, about 16 lakh students appeared in the examination in class 12th. The work of checking the copies is being done by the board at a fast pace and the preparation of the result is almost in the final stage.

There is no official information from the board regarding the date of release of the results, but it is expected that the results will be declared by the first or second week of May.

How to download the result

To check the CBSE 10th and 12th results, first of all, students should visit cbseresults.nic.in or results.cbse.nic.in website. Then click on the link CBSE Class 10th Result 2025 or CBSE Class 12th Result 2025 given on the homepage. After this, a new page will open, where you will have to fill in the roll number, school number, and date of birth.

After filling in all the information correctly, click on the 'Submit' button. The result will appear on the screen which you can download and print. Apart from this, the result can also be seen through Digilocker and the UMANG app. To check the result on Digilocker, students should go to digilocker.gov.in log in, and enter the roll number and school code in the CBSE Result section.

On the other hand, to check the result from the Umang app, first download the app, then log in with your mobile number and click on the result link. The result can also be saved as a PDF.

How was last year's result?

Last year, i.e. in 2024, the result of both CBSE 10th and 12th was better than average. The total pass percentage in class 10th was around 93.12%, while 87.33% of students were successful in class 12th. In class 10, the performance of girls was better than that of boys, where the pass percentage of girls was around 94.25% and that of boys was 92.27%.

At the same time, girls also outperformed in class 12th. The names of many states came out among the top students, in which students of Kerala, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh were at the top. Some schools also got 100% results, which was the result of strict monitoring of the board and hard work of the students. It is expected that this year's result will also be satisfactory like last year.
