New Delhi [India], October 24 (ANI): Hailing the new Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday asserted that the country is seeing the "positive impact in the MSME sector and retail trade" and would create new employment opportunities.
Addressing the Rozgar Mela virtually, the prime minister highlighted that the reform would increase exports and give young people new opportunities to work on global projects.

Even our foreign policy is focused on the interests of India's youth. Our diplomatic talks and global MoUs are incorporating youth training, upskilling, and employment generation. Recently, the British Prime Minister visited India. During his visit, India and the UK agreed to increase investment in sectors like AI, fintech, and clean energy. The free trade agreement signed between India and the UK a few months ago will also create new opportunities. Similarly, investment partnerships have been established with several European countries," PM Modi said.
PM Modi later added that many opportunities will arise, and young people will be given new opportunities to work on global projects.
"These are expected to create thousands of new jobs. Agreements have been signed with many countries, including Brazil, Singapore, Korea, and Canada. These will increase investment. Startups and MSMEs will receive support. Exports will increase, and young people will have new opportunities to work on global projects. Many opportunities will arise," the prime minister said.
