Reuniting with old friends is always special, but when that reunion happens on the stage of a sangeet ceremony, it definitely adds a different charm altogether. That’s exactly what happened when a group of dancers came together after six long years and lit up the dance floor with a performance that's now taking over the internet.
Dancers Sanika Shinde and Om Tarphe shared the now-viral video on Instagram, showing their group delivering a high-energy performance that felt less like a family function and more like a full-blown talent display at the IIFA Awards show.
Take a look at the video below
“SANGEET ❌ IIFA AWARDS ✅ This is what happens when dancers decide to take over the stage. Dancing with The Gang after 6 Years,” the caption read, perfectly summing up the vibe.
The group danced to the trending song “Peelings” from Pushpa 2. The performance kicked off as the women took over the stage first, soon joined by the men. Dressed in vibrant traditional outfits and giving South Indian vibes, they captivated the audience with their power-packed moves.
What really set the performance apart was the precision and coordination. From crisp formations to impressive footwork, every step reflected their chemistry and well-rehearsed routine despite reuniting on the stage after so many years.
Social media users couldn’t get enough. One comment summed up the sentiment perfectly: “If my sangeet doesn’t look like this, I don’t want it".
Since being posted on May 11, the video has gone viral, amassing over 2.6 million likes and counting.
