Meerut Murder Case: Muskan Rastogi, Accused Of Killing Husband & Dumping Body In Drum, Is Pregnant

Meerut: Muskan Rastogi, who allegedly killed her husband, former Merchant Navy officer, Saurabh Rajput along with her lover Sahil Shukla is reportedly pregnant, reported TV9 Hindi news portal.

27-year-old Muskan has tested positive for pregnancy and her pregnancy was confirmed on Monday when a team from the district hospital reached the jail following a formal request from prison authorities. Chief Medical Officer Ashok Kataria confirmed Muskan's pregnancy test result.

Whose Child Is Muskan Carrying?

Although, it remains unclear whose child Muskan is carrying, It is noteworthy, she was in contact with her lover Sahil for two years. Not only this, after the murder of her husband, she went to Himachal Pradesh with her lover. Here both stayed together for 11 days and reportedly also got married in a temple there.

Doctors have refrained from saying anything clearly in this regard.

Reportedly, Muskan, who is lodged in Meerut jail, had missed her period. After this, her health deteriorated. Seeing her condition, the jail authorities got her health checkup done.

Meanwhile, the families of Saurabh Rajput and his murderer wife, Muskan Rastogi, are likely to approach the court to seek the custody of the couple’s six-year-old daughter, Pihu.

According to the reports, Muskan's parents have approached the police to ensure that they get the custody of Pihu, while Saurabh’s elder brother, Rahul has also made a similar request.

Muskan's Family Adamant On Pihu's Custody

According to News 18, Muskan’s father, Pramod Rastogi, said that they have no interest in Saurabh’s property or bank balance. However, he emphasised that they will not allow Pihu to be taken away from them as she is like life to them.

Completely unaware of the henious crime her mother allegdly commited, Pihu believes that her parents are on a vacation.
