Mumbai Real Estate News: Kalpataru Realty Sells Commercial Space Worth ₹600 Crore Near Grand Hyatt In Santacruz

Mumbai: Kalpataru realty and infra major has sold commercial space in its project Kalpataru Infina near Grand Hyatt hotel in Santa Cruz (east) for a whopping Rs 600 crore.

Nine commercial units, with a total RERA carpet area of approximately 85,422 sq ft, at Kalpataru Infinia in were sold in bulk transactions to two buyers; Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd and its promoter Samir Jain, and MSK Family Trust. As per registration data, eight deals were finalized and signed in the last week of March, while one deal was completed earlier, in May 2024.

Bennett Coleman and Co. along with its promoter Mr. Jain acquired approximately 66,330 sq. ft. of commercial space spread across seven units at a total value of around Rs 460 cr, with each unit priced at around Rs 66 cr. This deal also includes 98 parking spaces. Each unit has a RERA carpet area of about 9,500 sq. ft.

The remaining two units of about 19,092 sq ft were purchased by MSK Family Trust for Rs 120 cr. This development underscores the growing demand for premium commercial real estate in Mumbai.

Located in Santacruz East, Kalpataru Infinia built on a total plot area of 2797.06 sq. m. with a carpet area of 1,15,000 sq ft. Kalpataru group plans to keep the 3 floors admeasuring RERA carpet area 28,638 sqft with them for their future expansion or may lease out in near future, according to sources close to the realty major.

The Rs 800 crore Kalpataru Infinia enjoys locational advantage due to its strategic proximity to the BKC and airport, ensuring easy travel for business professionals. Being just a two-minute walk from the metro enhances connectivity, making it highly accessible and convenient for employees.

The property also features a cafe/coffee bar, food court, and environmentally friendly amenities like rainwater harvesting and solar lighting. Its close proximity to Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) providing easy access to one of Mumbai's major business districts, the source added.
