Tristan Farnon star Callum Woodhouse spoke exclusively to Reach publications about the excitement surrounding the pair. "I think he just got a bit bored of companionship with his rats and wanted something a little bit more."
Siegfried's romantic pursuits are expected to persist in series six and Woodhouse revealed he "worries" for any prospective partner for Siegfried.
"Because everyone is just desperate for Siegfried and Mrs Hall to be together," he elaborated.
"I don't know how I feel about it, she already feels a bit like my mum anyway and I think as well I'm thinking about Sam and Anna, so I'm like 'no!'" During the last series, viewers went wild as the romantic tension between the pair intensified.
One thrilled fan took to X, formerly Twitter, writing: "You see what I see right? We are seeing the slow burning of the century finally burning".
Another gushed: "Audrey and Siegfried are so married it's insane".
