Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips has revealed he is engaged to be married to girlfriend Harriet Sperling after a year of dating.
The pair have confirmed their engagement with Peter's uncle King Charles and cousin Prince William said to have been informed with both delighted for the couple.
Peter, 47, was previously married to Autumn Kelly, with whom he has two daughters Isla and Savannah. He also dated long-term partner Lindsay Wallace before they split last year and he later found love with Harriet, an NHS nurse. The happy news comes just days after Peter's sister Zara celebrated her 14th wedding anniversary with husband Mike Tindall.

Peter and Harriet first made their debut as a couple just over a year ago when they both appeared together at the Badminton Horse Trials, where mum-of-one Harriet mingled with Peter's mum, Anne, sister-in-law to be Zara as well as Queen Camilla.
The couple have been spotted together at a number of social events together, such as Wimbledon as well as Cheltenham Races in January. Just last month, they appeared at Royal Ascot together where Harriet, who has also previously been married, made her debut in one of the carriages during the royal procession - with the move being seen as a significant sign of her moving into the royal fold.
In April 2024, it was revealed that Peter had split with previous girlfriend Lindsay, who were said to have amicably separated with work commitments proving a stumbling block for the pair.
His split with Lindsay came four years after it was announced Peter and ex-wife Autumn had called time on their marriage after 12 years - marking a tumultuous time for his love life.

Peter married his first wife Autumn back in May 2008 in a grand ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor, with guests including the late Queen and Prince Philip as well as his cousin Prince Harry. Although Prince William was unable to make it, the Princess of Wales was invited, despite being unmarried at the time - and it is believed the wedding marked the first time she met the late Queen.
The couple spent time living in Hong Kong through Peter's previous job with the Royal Bank of Scotland and eventually settled back in the UK with their two daughters Savannah, 14, the late Queen's oldest great-grandchild and Isla, 13.
Although mainly living out of the spotlight on Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate, the family of four was a regular at royal events such as Trooping the Colour and royal Christmas at Sandringham and Easter in Windsor.
However, towards the end of 2019, the couple separated and revealed they had taken the difficult step in an emotional statement in 2020 - just weeks after Harry and Meghan Markle announced they were quitting their royal roles.
In 2021 the couple's divorce was finalised "amicably" and they released a statement explaining "Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost.
"Both Peter and Autumn are pleased to have resolved matters amicably with the children firmly at the forefront of those thoughts and decisions. Peter and Autumn have requested privacy and consideration for their children as the family adapts to a new chapter in their lives."
