Despite many fans speculating about their equation over the years, Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder have always maintained their just good friends. However, while appearing on The One Show on Friday (September 19), the pair made a huge announcement.
The two recently starred on the second series of their BBC travel show, Rob and Rylan’s Passage to India and were on the programme to discuss it with hosts Alex Jones and Clara Amfo, before revealing some very exciting news about the third series.
Alex said: “Both these series have seemed to transform the pair of you, and in turn then, we've had so much out of watching them and people absolutely love these programmes.
“And good news, because there's a third series. We know where you're off, but you're gonna share it with our viewers, aren't you?”
An excited Rylan, 36, responded: “We are off to Greece!,” before asking Rob, 47: “What are we following, I forget? The Odyssey?”

Rob confirmed they’d be taking inspiration from “Odysseus a little bit” as he added: “But all about philosophy and democracy, and fun and beautiful conversation."
The two first travelled to Italy last year for their Ground Tour series, which notably won a BAFTA and has left a lasting impact on the television stars. Rylan continued: "It really has changed our lives. I've literally just landed from a flight from Florence.
"I've just come back with my partner, and I went out there and called Elizabeth, who showed us the Artemisia Gentileschi painting, and I went to see it yesterday... I'm actually high-brow now, not just eyebrow!"
Rob elaborated: "I'm so proud. But also, [Rylan's] taught me, as well, to go and delight in the world and have fun and let go a bit. That's the kind of, if you like, benignly beautiful platonic marriage that we have.
"It's one thing to look at the art with your head, but you've got to do it with your heart too, and that's the special brand of magic that he brings us."
When the first series aired on BBC Two last year, many speculated the pair were dating and it was perpetuated when they said they were “like an old Married couple”. However, the two have confirmed they have no romantic equation and are just good pals.
This comes as Rylan recently confirmed his new relationship with boyfriend Kennedy, sharing loved-up snaps of the pair from their trip to Florence, Italy.
The This Morning presenter posted various snaps on Instagram, including the couple posing with a glass of red wine while looking through a traditional wine window.

He captioned the post: “A few days in florence with you. Popped into see Elizabeth and thank her for being part of our grand tour and had to see the Artemisia Gentileschi and thank her for being part of the bafta . A beautiful few days x".
Fans of The X Factor star flocked to the comments section to share their happiness for his new relationship, following his split from husband Dan Neal in 2021. One person expressed: “So happy for you both" followed by two red heart emojis.”
Another social media user gushed: “I’m so genuinely happy for you and Kennedy. You both deserve every bit of happiness together, and it’s so lovely to see. Wishing you nothing but the best on this journey.”
While a third enthusiastic fan added: “Yay !!!!! Don’t even know you personally but have seen the interviews and your honesty . You made it to new chapters darling xxxx".
