ITV show Cooking With The Stars is about to return to the channel with hosts Emma Willis and Tom Allen both reprising their presenting roles. As things start to hot up in the kitchen , we'll see eight brand new batch celebrities take to the stage.
The much-loved show sees total amateurs venture to the kitchen alongside world-renowned chefs as they take on a culinary challenge like no other, in hope of nabbing the famous Golden Frying Pan at the end.
Hinting about what the new series has to offer, host Emma has said the bar is extremely high in terms of standard this year, she stated to ITV: "Looking at those first few days in the kitchen, this is the highest level we've ever had.
"Sometimes the dishes can look a bit rough around the edges but actually taste amazing - but this year, I thought everyone's first cook looked great and tasted great... well, from what we've managed to snatch off the counter anyway!"
As in previous series, each of the eight celebrities will be mentored by an famous industry professional chef as they navigate a series of head-to-head battles and nail-biting cook offs
Each week, those who score the lowest will face the eliminator round, going nose-to-nose with another celebrity to avoid a show exit.
Their mentors are forced to watch on in silence as pressure peaks in the kitchen with mentors then making the final verdict.
Mentors are required to take part in a taste test but are unaware of whose food belongs to which participant - meaning if they get it wrong, they could end up sending their own protégé packing home.
The celebrities hoping to cook up a storm this time round, will be actor Natalie Cassidy, reality TV star Ekin-Su Cülcülolu, actor and comedian Hugh Dennis, author and interiors expert Kelly Hoppen, radio presenter Jordan North, reality TV star Jessica Wright and former footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Media personality Jack Osbourne will also be in this years line-up despite the sudden death of his beloved father just days ago, after he passed away at the age of 76, on July 22, following his final farewell concernt in Birmingham.
Although Cooking With The Stars will air this weekend, the programme had already be pre-recorded prior to the rock icon's death.
In terms of pairings, Hugh Dennis is assisted by April Jackson, Ekin-Su with Poppy O'Toole, Jack Osbourne has been taken under the wing of Elliott Grover, while Natalie Cassidy will work alongside Tony Singh.
Michael Caines also teams up with Kelly Hoppen, Jordan North and Rosemary Shrager, Jessica Wright is mentored by Jack Stein and Shaun Wright-Phillips aligns with Shelina Permalloo.
Each professional boasts extensive culinary experience in the food world.
