King Charles has been crowned the "most adventurous" member of the Royal Family in the kitchen. The King is known to have a diverse palate and is keen on various cuisines.
He is also known to be big on organic produce and will usually eat food from the royal residences. Now, according to one of his former chefs, the King was the person within the Royal Family who introduced them to other cuisines and brought new innovations into the menu.
Former royal chef Darren McGrady, who spent 15 years cooking for the Royal Family, has opened up about the King's culinary preferences.

Speaking to Heart Bingo, Mr McGrady said: "Prince Charles, now King Charles, was the most adventurous.
He brought organic food into the royal kitchens long before it became mainstream. He'd bring his own hampers with home-grown fruits and vegetables, especially at Sandringham.
"He loved Italian cuisine and introduced Mediterranean dishes to the menu, moving away from traditional British comfort food and classic French cuisine.
"He also enjoyed foraging for wild mushrooms, which he would bring to the kitchens for us to use in meals."
Charles is said to follow a very healthy diet, which includes homegrown vegetables, small meals and eggs from his chickens at Highgrove House.
The King is known to like his eggs in the morning, as revealed by Clarence House in 2020, but he is also keen on nuts and seeds, along with a cup of tea, as per Tina Brown.
For lunch, it has been famously reported that King Charles views it as unnecessary and therefore does not eat it so he can fit in more royal engagements.
Meanwhile, for dinner, the monarch is said to go big on seasonal cuisine as well as using fresh produce produced at his own estate.
