Man Utd star seventh as each Premier League club's most expensive player rated

With Haaland committed to the Etihad until 2034, they estimate his worth between £188million-£239m - a figure that could rival Neymar's £200m move to PSG in 2017 if he were to depart. Chelsea take the second spot with Cole Palmer, whose contract is only a year shorter than Haaland's. His estimated value ranges from £95m to £120m, surpassing Bukayo Saka.

Arsenal's key man is contracted at the Emirates until 2027, which factors into his valuation of £84m-£106m. Champions League contenders Aston Villa also feature in the top four of this list with Morgan Rogers valued at £74m-£94m, reports .

League leaders Liverpool only rank fifth, but not with the player you might expect. With Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold's contracts all due to expire, their most expensive player is Ryan Gravenberch (£71m-£90m).

While Newcastle United have reportedly placed a £150m price tag on Alexander Isak, CIES believe a figure between £70m and £89m is more realistic. In contrast, Rasmus Hojlund (£62m-£79m) ranks seventh, despite Manchester United seeming unlikely to recoup a significant portion of their £72m investment in the struggling striker.

In another surprise, Bournemouth are eighth with Ilya Zabarnyi. The Ukrainian's centre-back partner Dean Huijsen has been making headlines this season, but the Spaniard's £50m release clause is surpassed by his team-mate's £52m-£67m valuation, having only extended his contract on the south coast last summer.

Brighton's Carlos Baleba (£51m-£64m) is ninth, with Brennan Johnson (£50m-£63m) of Tottenham completing the top 10. Other notable mentions include Jarrad Branthwaite in 15th place and Marc Guehi in 18th.

Both England internationals were highly sought-after last summer, with Everton refusing to accept less than £70m for Branthwaite and Palace demanding a similar amount for Guehi. However, CIES estimates Branthwaite's worth to be half that figure, with Guehi falling below the £30m mark as the final year of his contract approaches.
