Will there be a Grace season 6?Indeed, the good news is out: Grace season six is on the horizon, with preparations already underway.
John Simm, the lead actor of the acclaimed series, expresses unique enthusiasm for the project: "We're about to start filming season six and I always jump ship after two series of any show!"
But for Grace, it's different; the cast and crew have formed a familial bond. "But everyone on Grace has become like family to me. I've done other jobs since we started, but each time coming back to Grace feels like being back home, because everyone is so familiar."
The team maintains continuity even behind the scenes, striving to preserve the same crew, cultivating a familiar and appealing work environment. For Simm, reprising his role season after season is an unusual journey: "It's very new for me to play a character for this long, but it's a comfortable feeling. I feel like I know Roy Grace and when I put that suit on it feels like, 'Here we go, here he is'."
Campbell then dropped hints about the upcoming storyline, revealing: "This series concludes with a cliffhanger - a major plot thread that we'll revisit in series six, where the stakes escalate with every season."
Although season six is anticipated to premiere in 2026, ITV has yet to announce a confirmed release date, considering it's still early days.

The forthcoming season is expected to follow the established format, comprising four two-hour films, similar to its predecessors.
In a previous interview with media outlets, including Reach, Campbell expressed his eagerness to reprise his role as Branson: "I'm ready to put the suit back on."
He shared his technique for getting back into character, attributing it to his co-star's presence: "It's just John being next to me. Like as soon as he's on my right-hand side."
Campbell jokingly pointed out that it became "problematic" when Simm positioned himself on his left during filming.
Elaborating on his character's iconic style, Campbell said: "For me, it's the suit."
Over time, Branson's signature three-piece suits have become integral to his persona. Campbell even engaged in discussions with the costume department to refine Branson's appearance.
He further explained: "It's interesting because if I wear a three-piece suit in my day-to-day, I don't feel like Branson at all, but on set it definitely feels like it."
Grace season 5 concludes on ITV tonight at 8pm
