Initially scheduled to close on October 3, the registration portal will now remain open till October 9, 11:59 PM, on the official website, mahatet.in.

Click on “New Registration” and create an account.
Log in using your credentials to fill out the application form.
Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
Pay the application fee online using debit/credit card or net banking.

Eligibility criteriaCandidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria in order to appear for the Maharashtra TET exam.
- Paper I (Classes 1–5): Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and hold or be pursuing a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or B.El.Ed.
- Paper II (Classes 6–8): Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma or B.Ed qualification.
