The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission ( UKPSC ) has officially announced the results for the Lower PCS Preliminary Examination 2024 on July 29, 2025. Thousands of aspirants who appeared for the highly competitive exam can now check their qualifying status on the official website, psc.uk.gov.in.

The merit list includes roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the Mains stage, marking a significant milestone in the recruitment process for various Group C posts. The exam, held in May, saw a large turnout across Uttarakhand. With a total of 113 vacancies across key administrative roles, this recruitment drive is a crucial step toward filling essential civil service positions.
How to check your UKPSC result onlineCandidates who appeared for the examination can download their results by following the steps below:


  • Visit the UKPSC official website – psc.uk.gov.in.
  • Click on the link titled “UKPSC Lower PCS Prelims Result 2024.”
  • Open the PDF file and use the search function to locate your roll number.
  • Download or print the merit list for future reference.
  • UKPSC merit list and cut-offsThe commission has released the merit list in PDF format, listing roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the Mains exam. Category-wise cut-off marks have also been released, providing insight into the performance benchmarks for different social groups. It’s important to note that marks obtained in the Prelims are not counted in the final merit ranking—they serve only as a qualifying stage.

    Vacancies under UKPSC lower PCS recruitmentOut of the total 113 vacancies:

    • 36 posts are for Nayab Tehsildar,
    • 14 for Deputy Jailor,
    • 36 for Supply Inspector,
    • 6 for Marketing Inspector,
    • and others spread across state-level administrative departments.
    What’s next?Candidates who find their roll numbers in the merit list are now eligible to appear for the Mains exam. The schedule and syllabus for the Mains will be announced shortly by the commission. The final merit list will be based on performance in the Mains and Interview stages.
