Recently, an X user posted on the social media platform about how butter chicken , basmati rice, garlic naan and mango lassi make up the best lunch and there is no better alternative than this. Reacting to this an Indian X user reposted the post, writing, "How did mango lassi become famous in white people world? It is not that famous in India"
This is true as in India the preferred alternative during the summer season, when mangoes are in the market, is mango shake, not lassi.
How did mango lassi become famous in white people world? It is not that famous in India 😂 https://t.co/DFqnolZZBP

Every Indian restaurant in the US has this mango lassi" and "Step 1: Mix the two most famous products of India - a mango and a lassi Step 2: Sell it 365 days a year everywhere in the world (except India) using canned mangoes"
Colleague from bratislava absolutely adores mango lassi which she orders from her local indian restaurant. Once she asked me for the recipe…while doing a quick google search away from the camera, i finally told her its not v popular here. She was shocked and refused to trust me
