At just 14 years old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has already become one of the IPL 2025 ’s biggest talking points, not just for his incredible talent, but also for his humility.
Having earlier smashed a 38-ball century , the second-fastest in IPL history, the young prodigy has shown time and again that he’s made for the big stage.
On Tuesday, Suryavanshi delivered yet again, scoring a composed 57 off 33 balls to anchor Rajasthan Royals’ successful chase of CSK’s 188-run target. His effort, along with strong support from skipper Sanju Samson and a late flourish by Dhruv Jurel, helped RR finish their season on a positive note.
For CSK, the loss continued a worrying trend, their fifth straight defeat while defending a total this season. Despite a strong middle-order stand led by Ayush Mhatre and Dewald Brevis, they could only manage 187/8 after being pegged back by Akash Madhwal’s disciplined bowling.
